Jessica has been cast in the role of a lifetime. She is in rehearsal to be Hamlet in the play by the same name! While rehearsing with her drama coach and thinking back on her lessons in Shakespearean drama, she learns a lot about herself. Just like Hamlet, she is full of self-doubt. Many Shakespearean scholars paint Hamlet as having more feminine traits, so perhaps a woman in the role is a natural?
Come explore this question with a small all-female cast that plays all the parts and relives the lessons and events that brought Jessica to this crossroad. Should she open in Hamlet or retreat to Los Angeles and accept a much more lucrative job offer? To be or not to be? That is the question in this hilarious take on a classic.
