The Lamplighters CircleIn 2019-2020 we’re celebrating FIVE years of bringing excellent theatrical experiences to the Tucker community, and we are so glad you’re a part of it!
Main Street Theatre strives to enhance cultural activities in and around Tucker, encourage people of all ages to get involved in the arts, bring our diverse community together and create a theatrical destination outside of Atlanta with first-rate mainstage productions and innovative interactive experiences. This season, we are proud to present three mainstage productions:
Because of your amazing support as audience members, previous Lamplighters, volunteers, and friends, we had our first three-show season in 2018-19, and continue to enhance the Main Street Theatre experience for both our audience and volunteers. In this fifth year, we’re connecting to all five audience senses. We have increased our number of lights and electrical equipment so audiences can see better, we’ve increased our number of mics and enhanced our sound systems so audiences can hear better, we’ve strengthened our partnership with Shorty’s Neighborhood Eatery so audiences taste and smell delicious dishes twice each year at our murder mystery dinners. We’ve updated our Main Street logo and created new t-shirts, magnets, stickers and tumblers so audiences can touch a little piece of our brand and take the theatre with them beyond the show. We are excited in season five to welcome even more community involvement and provide new opportunities to come together—including a new dining experience alongside our fall production of The Dining Room. As we continue to grow and provide enhanced experiences in Tucker each season, will you partner with us? In 2017, we established the Lamplighters Circle of Main Street Theatre—our Annual Fund for support—and we have been thrilled to have the circle grow bigger each year. We would love for you to be part of this amazing group! We invite you to be a member of the Lamplighters Circle for 2019-2020 by making a contribution for this season at one of the giving levels listed. Charter members from 2017 will continue to be featured as such alongside all Lamplighters in the programs for all three of our productions this year.
