The Lamplighters CircleWe at Main Street Theatre would like to take a moment to acknowledge that now, more than ever, we so appreciate and are grateful for the community that has funded, volunteered, celebrated and advocated for us.
At a time when everything feels uncertain, we find comfort and encouragement knowing that so many people in Tucker and beyond care about our mission: to produce superior theatrical experiences that entertain and connect the community. As the world has slowed down and we've had to suspend our in-person performances, we are focused on ways to stay connected through the Tucker Talent Showcase, which will air in November with over 20 acts of talent from ages 6 to 76, as well as through our Socially-Distanced Main Street Murders. If you missed out on our first, you can still catch “Stand-In” on our Facebook page. “Bell Manor” will be coming up later this month. And while we’re coming to you digitally, we’re also leaning into this time to get our new dressing room up and running at Tucker Rec Center, upgrade technical equipment, and acquire tools to address the need for enhanced cleaning measures when we have the opportunity to be together again. We will continue to seek ways to connect until we're able to once again open our doors and continue our vision to be a successful and exciting community theatre company that enhances cultural activities in and around Tucker, encourage people of all ages to get involved in the arts, bring the diverse community of Tucker together, and create a theatrical destination outside of Atlanta. While all of us are facing great challenges at this time, we hope that you can find some peace knowing that MST is keeping community theatre alive and well in Tucker, Georgia, and we can’t wait to see you all in person again. In 2017, we established the Lamplighters Circle of Main Street Theatre—our Annual Fund for support—and we have been thrilled to have the circle grow bigger each year. We would love for you to be part of this amazing group, even while we're apart. We invite you to be a member of the Lamplighters Circle for 2020-2021 by making a contribution at one of the giving levels listed. Members from the 2019-2020 season will continue to be featured alongside all Lamplighters in all physical programs when we resume in-person gatherings, as well as in a digital format online and in the credits for our socially-distant productions. By being a member of the Lamplighters Circle, you become part of our family and our production team. Please consider a gift to the Lamplighter Circle this unique season. On behalf of all of us at Main Street Theatre, thank you for being a part of our community. We wish you and your family health, safety, and happiness. We are so grateful for you! |
